On Saturday September 16th from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., the Gunpowder Valley Conservancy will host a guided canoe trip through Days Cove in southeastern Baltimore County near the point where [Big] Gunpowder Falls and Little Gunpowder Falls converge.
Advance registration is required by September 8th and availability is limited. To register, fill out the Registration form (Word document here) and the Waiver form (Word doc here) by September 8th, and mail them to:

After the canoe trip – which is appropriate for beginners -- a lunch will be provided. There will also be a presentation on the history and ecology of the Days Cove area.
Participants will gather at 10:00 a.m. at the Day's Cove visitor center located on Days Cove Road in southeastern Baltimore County. Canoes will be provided.
The canoe trip will last approximately two hours followed by lunch on the terrace at the visitor center and a talk on the history and ecology of the Days Cove area.
A $30 donation per person is requested to cover the cost. Parking is available at the Visitor Center.
